It was an honour to be invited by the Pro-Chancellor, Colonel Rashmi Mittal, and the Dean, Mr. Saurabh Lakhanpal, of the prestigious Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab, to take up the responsibility of Tournament Director for the North East Inter-University Judo Championship 2025–26, held from 15th to 18th January 2026.
I also wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Judo Federation of India, and to the many respected seniors and mentors who, across generations, have guided, mentored, and shaped me, making me capable of hosting and effectively managing such a prestigious championship.
It has been my privilege to successfully conclude the tournament with great success, upheld by discipline, technical excellence, and true sporting spirit.
